On Thursday, March 11 the APANJ hosted Assistant Prosecutor Ian Kennedy (Bergen) as he presented Moneyball for Prosecutors: An Innovative Approach to Appellate Reversals and Advice for Eliminating Common Errors. The presentation randomly sampled 50 reversals from the 2017 to 2019 Appellate Division court terms and categorized the reasons for those reversals. A.P. Kennedy highlighted some common issues and made practical suggestions for avoiding similar mistakes in the future.
