Camden's Doyle Ousts Finalists Passaic and Burlington to Win "Double Jeopardy" Tournament!

CAMDEN COUNTY'S OWN LIZ DOYLE TAKES HOME THE CUP! APANJ Delegate Liz Doyle proved to all she is the Titan of Trivia, fending off tough challenges from Passaic County's Kevin Long and Burlington County's Joe Remy in the final round of the APANJ's first-ever "Double Jeopardy" tournament. Doyle proved her stuff, surviving three rounds of game boards over three days spanning movies, music, pets, pop culture, and riddles from American Pie to Batman. Of the 22 offices that competed in the single-elimination competition, Camden's Doyle clinched it with a tournament high score of 5400 on a "Final Jeopardy" question about How I Met Your Mother.

Check out photos below from last night's championship round, which began with welcoming remarks by new CPANJ President - Hudson County Prosecutor, Esther Suarez, followed by APANJ President David V. Calviello who highlighted the work of the association and the upcoming programs planned for 2021.

Huge shout out goes to the tournament's host - Ocean's Renee White - whose clever game boards rounded out the fun-filled event and was a fitting tribute to the late Alex Trebek. Along with the engraved Cup, Camden County's APs will also enjoy a breakfast or lunch compliments of the APANJ!

We wish each of you a healthy and happy Thanksgiving!

David V. Calviello
President, APANJ
