Message from the APANJ!
The APANJ is pleased to announce its brand new logo and website for its members. “Our seal represents us. It’s who we are!” says APANJ President David V. Calviello. The new seal debuted simultaneously with the new website, which went live last month. “In order to advance our policy agenda, we needed to revitalize our association and enhance its image and awareness with our members and lawmakers alike. I think we accomplished that goal at the CPANJ Convention in November. Now, we can move ahead on our legislative agenda,” Calviello added.
Over the past year, the APANJ’s executive board and trustees worked tirelessly to improve the association from the inside out. “Rebranding the association’s image not only enhanced its recognition among members, it helped us redefine and recommit ourselves to our core mission ~ advocating for assistant prosecutors statewide,” said Calviello.
The association unveiled its new look at last month’s CPANJ Convention with the first-ever APANJ information table as well as the first-annual happy hour for its members. By all accounts, the happy hour was a huge success. “I’m so pleased with how our executive board and trustees collaborated to relaunch our association by focusing on membership engagement,” Calviello said.
In addition to the new website www.APANJ.org, the APANJ also joined other social media platforms, Facebook and Twitter, established an official APANJ email address, and created the first-ever mass email distribution list to the membership.
“These initiatives will help the executive board engage directly with members and, simultaneously, provide a platform from which we can advocate for assistant prosecutors. Our goal is to make our members proud to be part of our association,” Calviello remarked. “Any effective advocacy campaign starts with defining who we are and introducing ourselves to our base supporters ~ our members. With our membership on board, we can more effectively advance our goals and agenda with lawmakers and the public. Together, we are stronger!” Calviello stated.
Stayed tuned for more information from the APANJ about the upcoming statewide CLE in the spring, officer elections, and the creation of the APANJ “Delegates-At-Large” from each county.
