I am excited to announce the following appointments to the APANJ:
For the position of Secretary, Trustee (even-year) Meghan O’Neill of Ocean County is appointed pursuant to Section 4.D of the bylaws to fill the vacancy left by outgoing Secretary, Danielle Esposito of Essex County, who resigned her position in late December to pursue a career in private practice. Meg has been an active and passionate supporter of the work of the APANJ as Trustee. Her contributions to this organization are recognized by her colleagues who unanimously approved her elevation to the executive board. Congratulations Meg!
For the position of Trustee (even-year), Delegate Jason S. Goldberg of Essex County is appointed pursuant to Section 4.D of the bylaws to fill the vacancy left by Trustee Meghan O’Neill’s elevation to Secretary. Jason is an experienced, career assistant prosecutor who served the APANJ as Delegate for Essex County. Jason is eager to continue to assist the APANJ advance its agenda and pension reform efforts as a Trustee. We welcome Jason to the Board of Trustees. Congratulations Jason!
For the position of Delegate for Essex County, Chelsea Coleman, is appointed pursuant to the bylaws to succeed Jason Goldberg. Chelsea is a five-year assistant prosecutor currently assigned to the SVU unit and is eager to join the APANJ and enthusiastic to represent her office. Welcome aboard Chelsea!
The APANJ recognizes the dedicated service of outgoing Secretary and former Trustee, Danielle Esposito. Danielle first joined the Board of Trustees in 2015 and was elected Secretary in 2018. Danielle worked tirelessly for over five years advancing the interests of her colleagues across the state. Notably, Danielle helped create the APANJ’s Wellness and Resiliency Committee and served as its co-chair. Among Danielle’s many contributions she was devoted to using the association to directly assist and support prosecutors’ wellness. We thank and congratulate Danielle for her years of service as an assistant prosecutor in Essex County and for work with the APANJ!
