“Bridging The Gap” Program for Retiring APs & DAGs

To support senior assistant prosecutors & DCJ-DAGs nearing retirement and help them transition, the APANJ is developing a Career Transitioning Program designed to provide a variety of retirement resources and career counseling.

“Basically we want to support our senior APs ‘bridge the gap’ to the next stage of their professional careers,” said APANJ Vice President Renee T. White, who along with APANJ President David V. Calviello, are designing this first-of-it’s kind program for APs.

The course features a specialized multi-day program geared toward APs who are within five years of their retirement eligibility. Topics to be covered include: pension and financial planning, wills, personal health care, resume-writing, career counseling, and job networking.

This course is free and voluntary for all senior members.

Registration inquiries should be directed to Vice President Renee T. White.
