Enthusiastic Kick-off to APANJ's Project NOVA for Senior APs!
APANJ's Project NOVA got off to a great start this week as senior APs from over half of the county prosecutors' offices gathered to learn about how to prepare for retirement. Hosted by the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, this free multi-day class, created by the APANJ, began with welcoming remarks from APANJ President David V. Calviello, CPANJ President Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, and Ocean County Prosecutor Brad Billhimer.
Throughout the week these senior APs will gain practical insight, professional advice, and tips on how they can use their legal skills and prosecutorial experiences to springboard them to their next pursuit. Led by APANJ Vice President Renee White (Ocean County), this first-of-its-kind training will cover many aspects involved in retiring, including resume-writing, networking, healthcare, estate and pension planning, mindfulness and resiliency in retirement.
